Dr. Jeffrey D. Friedman is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the chief of the plastic and reconstructive surgery department at the Institute for Reconstructive Surgery. After obtaining his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Friedman completed his plastic surgery residency and a fellowship in microsurgery at the University of Southern California. Currently, Dr. Friedman brings innovative surgical techniques in plastic and reconstructive surgery to the Houston, TX area . As one of Texas' Super Doctors, he is a member of several prestigious medical organizations and has been recognized for his continuing contributions to the plastic surgery field. Dr. Friedman also serves in many academic positions at Weill Cornell Medical College, Baylor College of Medicine, University of North Texas, and Texas A&M College of Medicine in order to educate prospective surgeons.
