Pablo Padilla

Dr. Pablo L. Padilla is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He specializes in cancer reconstruction (head and neck, MOHS, extremity), breast reconstruction, microsurgery, trauma reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery.

He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) where he graduated at the top of his class and elected AOA. He went on and completed his integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). He gained a comprehensive experience working at multiple top tier level one trauma centers across the state. He worked and trained with international leaders in the field. His work with Shriners Hospital of Texas where they specialize in burn and craniofacial reconstruction, allowed him to develop a passion for reconstructive surgery.

He then furthered his training by completing a fellowship in Microsurgery and complex oncological reconstruction at MD Anderson Cancer Center, a world-renowned center of excellence in reconstructive surgery.

Among his many interests in plastic surgery. Dr. Padilla likes performing breast reconstruction procedures, abdominoplasty, liposuction, body contouring, and cancer/trauma reconstruction from head to toe.

Dr. Padilla has a strong interest in academics and teaching. He won numerous teaching awards and research awards at both local and international meetings. He has authored numerous papers in notable publications including (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, Burn Care, and FACE). He has a passion for patient care and patient safety, writing one of the landmark papers on medical tourism, focusing on the medical and economic impact it has on patients.

He is bilingual and multicultural and strives to provide each patient with a personalized experience to optimize results with safety and compassionate care. Outside of medicine Dr. Padilla enjoys spending time with his family traveling and exploring cuisines from around the world. With expertise and many qualifications, Dr. Padilla provides the best possible results and comfortable/custom treatments for each of his Greater Houston area patients.
