Truly an amazing gift from God! Great Surgeon! - Dr. Echo is very attentive and has your best concerns at heart. I was in a wheelchair for almost 3 yrs. with the worst imaginable pain ever, no hope for any normal life..couldn’t drive, didn’t go out because the pain was so horrible, I just knew I would die in that wheelchair. Dr. Echo performed 2 nerve surgeries on me last year 1 being a nerve transplant and after the 2nd surgery within about a month I was up on crutches. I have been called the miracle walker because I was told I only had a 40-45% chance to relieve some of the pain and no guarantee I would regain use of my left leg. I have exceeded that by far and will be forever grateful to Dr. Echo for giving me back my life! He has referred me to an associate to correct my knee which became stiff and I am so excited to know after this final surgery, no more crutches . You are truly a miracle worker Dr. Echo. What a blessing to find this doctor who understood my problem and knew what to do about it. My meralgia paresthetica (trapped nerves in thigh) lasted for many years, which caused numbness, progressing to pain when standing up. When I met Dr. Echo and asked questions about what he was going to do, he not only explained, but drew illustrations of what was happening, my impression was: this doctor is patient and extremely intelligent. I was very happy, because I had spent many years going to doctors about this problem and not getting anywhere. Dr. Echo and his staff answered all questions. I also appreciated the Mychart app to reach the staff and to see his and his staff's notes from visits. The surgery went well, incision was very neat. 4 months out, and it is still healing well, but the terrible pain is gone. l highly recommend Dr. Echo. Methodist has THE best. More

I have suffered with extensive peripheral neuropathy for quite some time. As an athlete who knows their body and has refused to accept 'this was as good as it was going to get' I kept searching for someone who could help me. I have had previous providers not able to figure out what was the issue or not look to find a solution. I moved to Houston and found Dr. Echo who has helped me with an extremely complicated surgical history. Piece by piece we are working to better my quality of life and to get my body functioning as it should. He has helped refer me to the correct specialists and has not rushed me into anything as I feel previous physicians have. I'm BRCA1 positive. I had ovarian cancer in 2015-16 with 6 rounds of chemo. November 2016 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr Echo did my breast reconstruction after my double mastectomy. He made sure I understood every step that was to take place pre-OR, during surgery and post-op. Dr. Echo answered all my question, understood my fears and cared about my feelings.
